Taylor Farms Launches Taylor Toppers at Foodservice Conference; Lisa Hearne Comments
SALINAS, CA - Leafy greens have the power to elevate any plate. From being the star of the show to landing a supporting role, different lettuce varieties offer different advantages to the chefs who use them. Giving operators a convenient option back of house, Taylor Farms has introduced the Taylor Toppers product line featuring the Perfect Fit, Deli Gem, and Whole Leaf Singles.

The Perfect Leaf is a hybrid of green leaf and Iceberg that delivers a consistently round shape and frilled edges to fit perfectly atop a hamburger. This variety also presents less rib and a higher heat tolerance than traditional lettuces, producing a fresh, high-quality product.
The Deli Gem Leaf, Green Leaf, and Romaine Leaf Singles truly turn Taylor Farms into a one-stop shop for all foodservice operators’ burger or sandwich leaf applications. The Green and Romaine Leaf singles are individually packed to offer convenience and streamlining prep to increase operator efficiencies, a press release stated.
The Taylor Topper line will make its first debut at the 2023 International Fresh Produce Association’s Foodservice Conference at booth #612.
