SALINAS, CA - Are you ready for an influx of fresh raspberries? Thanks to its 100 percent proprietary varieties, Naturipe has reported significant growth in conventional and organic raspberries, bringing retailers large promotable volumes to finish out the year.

“Our growers have done it again, and produced an exceptional raspberry crop for our customers,” said Fernando Aguiar, Director of Business Development. “This tremendous growth is attributable to the success of prior seasons and demand from our customers for more of our proprietary raspberry varieties.”

As reported in a recent company release, strong volumes of raspberries will continue through the end of the year and lead into the holiday season. The supplier’s primary raspberry growing regions are Central Mexico and Baja, where several production areas overlap, in addition to the company’s Northern California production. With these diverse growing regions, Naturipe is able to provide thriving raspberry volume year-round. With the help of new plantings and expanded growing areas, Naturipe has achieved 35 percent volume growth and 43 percent growth in retail dollar sales.

Currently, production is peaking in Naturipe’s Baja growing region, and the company will quickly transition to the seasonal peak in Central Mexico as we move into the fall season. The berry provider has noted that the 2022–23 season is on track to be its biggest yet, with raspberry availability doubling over the previous year.
