CARPINTERIA, CA - Fresh off of a brand refresh, Pete’s has other news to celebrate: that of Baltazar Garcia’s promotion to Director of Sales, effective immediately. In his new role, Garcia will oversee the sales department and will have responsibility for growing all channels of trade in an effort to increase distribution and national brand presence. He will serve as a member of the executive team and will continue to report to President Brian Cook.

“I am looking forward to this opportunity, and I will continue to work very closely with our team, our valued partners, and of course, our new prospects,” Garcia said in a recent press release. “Our future at Pete’s looks bright with new products and innovation on the horizon, and I’m really excited to be part of it.”

Formerly the Senior Sales Manager, Garcia was responsible for overseeing sales for the west territory and worked closely with retailers and wholesalers to deliver growth. The press release noted that Garcia was instrumental in driving sales for Pete’s organic offerings, which helped the company deliver “unprecedented” sales volume in 2018.

“Baltazar has already done a great job of driving sales for Pete’s and is more committed than ever to finding new ways to drive the business forward,” said Cook. “Baltazar earned this opportunity based on his hard work, dedication, and leadership—the key traits we value and reward in our Pete’s team members.”

Garcia brings over 22 years of sales experience to his new role. He started working for Pete's in 2014 as Shipping and Customer Service Manager.
