CALIFORNIA - Amazon is once again building on its grocery prowess and providing fresh food to consumers across the United States. With its most recent growth plan, Amazon Fresh is bringing several new stores to the state of California, revealing plans for three new locations in Southern California, and another in Roseville.

As it expands its presence in the southern region of California, the grocer has already opened its Mission Viejo location on April 21, with its La Verne location opening today, April 28, and the Murrieta location to follow on May 5. According to a recent release, all three of the store locations will offer Just Walk Out Shopping, which adds convenience to customers’ shopping experience by giving them the option to skip the checkout line.

Once all three of the new stores are open, Amazon Fresh will have 14 locations in southern California and 30 stores across the country. The new stores will create hundreds of jobs upon each opening. They will also donate surplus food to local food banks to support the community.

The stores will include Amazon Fresh’s wide assortment of national brands and high-quality produce as well as a range of prepared foods made fresh in-store daily.

In addition, the grocery giant is also introducing a new Amazon Fresh store to the Roseville, California, area. The retailer has confirmed plans to open an Amazon Fresh store in the Sacramento area, but has not specified that store’s location, according to Sacramento Business Journal.
