Bobalu Reveals Update to Strawberry Season

SANTA MARIA, CA – With its Oxnard, California, operation shifted to processing, Bobalu has turned its focus to the Santa Maria, California, region where the grower is getting ready to hit peak season just in time for late spring and early summer promotions.

“We are still heading into peak season here on the west side of town, and we could not be happier with what we see!” Bobalu wrote in a recent newsletter update. “The fruit quality, size, and flavor are excellent, as we ramp up to peak volume, still on schedule for mid-to-late June. Our weekly numbers continue to climb as we get closer to that point.”

Recently, Bobalu has seen increased demand for larger pack sizes as shoppers prepare for Memorial Day and graduation season. With favorable conditions producing high-quality fruit, the grower looks forward to upcoming summer promotions and the delicious berries ahead.
