Boskovich Fresh Food Group's Fresh Prep Nabs Honor for Fair Earth Farms Line

OXNARD, CA - Rolling out a new release is always exciting, but earning an award soon after is the delicious crouton on top. Boskovich Fresh Food Group’s subsidiary Fresh Prep released a new line, Fair Earth Farms, to retail shelves. That line has gained recognition as an honoree in Fast Company’s 2023 World Changing Ideas Awards in the Energy and Sustainability category.

“Fair Earth Farms is an innovative retail line that launched in July 2022 and is the first in the produce industry to package organic salad kits and salad blends in plant-based, fully-compostable bags, printed using water-based inks that will break down into rich, organic soil,” noted the release. “Fair Earth Farms was submitted for consideration in Fast Company’s ‘World Changing Ideas Awards’ and was selected as an honorable mention in the Energy and Sustainability category.”

The release further noted Fair Earth Farms is among 40 inspiring ideas for cleaner power, less waste, and a more sustainable world.

Boskovich’s award couldn’t come at a better time, as it is currently National Compost Week (May 7–13).

This year’s World Changing Ideas Awards showcase included 45 winners, 216 finalists, and more than 300 honorable mentions—with health, climate, energy, and AI among the most popular categories.

Congratulations on the amazing award!
