FirstFruits Marketing Announces New Crave the Crunch Opal Apple Campaign
YAKIMA, WA – Another day, another delicious apple variety. This time its FirstFruits Marketing announcing the arrival of its Opal apple season. Just like its gem-stone namesake, the Opal apple shines bright amongst its fellow varieties and touts a unique, eye-catching color that will leave shoppers dazzled. To promote this crunchy, fall-encapsulating variety, FirstFruits is launching a new campaign, Crave the Crunch, as well as unveiling a new packaging design and continued partnership with Cynthia Sass.

As Opal apples get ready to make their appearance on produce shelves, retailers can anticipate the new Opal Crunch Crate to launch this fall as well, according to a press release. The new packaging is made of recyclable materials and will hold smaller size apples that are perfect for kids’ small hands or as on-the-go snack options.
Along with the Crunch Crate, retail partners will receive new in-store marketing signage, bins, and social media tool kits as part of the recently launched campaign.
Additionally, continuing its successful partnership with Opal Brand Ambassador, Cynthia Sass, the Author and Dietitian will once again be promoting the variety through a series of events, appearances, and recipes just as she did last year.
The prized Opal apples will be making their way in store beginning October 19, so make sure you aren’t the odd man out and add the popular variety to your produce aisle.
