CALIFORNIA - October signifies more than just the time for scary movies and creative costumes. The month also brings along the highly anticipated Global Produce & Floral Show, hosted by the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA). Ready to arm its retail partners with strong strawberry volumes, Bobalu is among those who will be in attendance at this year’s show.

“We are excited about the timing of the IFPA show as it gives us the opportunity to meet with customers during our peak fall strawberry season,” shares Cindy Jewell, Vice President of Marketing for Bobalu. “As we show our fall fruit in the booth, we will also be able to review crop updates, regional offerings, and promotional plans for our 2024 California strawberry season, which is right around the corner! Our fall Santa Maria crop is taking off right now, and our Oxnard fall strawberry volume will be increasing by the time of the show.”

Lots of exciting developments are currently in the works for Bobalu. In addition to some new varieties joining the portfolio, the supplier will also be taking the time to spotlight its custom packaging offerings with an emphasis on sustainability. Bobalu’s new clamshell labels are now completely recyclable, allowing the entire clamshell to be easily recyclable for the consumer.

The Global Produce & Floral Show presents a prime opportunity to spotlight these offerings, as the two-day event allows attendees to explore all there is to offer and attend the various sessions. With Bobalu’s 2024 program just two short months away, show-goers will definitely want to make a note to stop by the grower’s booth.
