PORTERVILLE, CA – The Homegrown Organic Farms team is expanding, with the recent addition of Ricardo Corrales as a new employee of the premier organic fresh produce marketer. He was recently hired, and is now operating as a Category Specialist for the company’s overall organic program.

“Ricardo brings specific skills and experience to help grow the company and better serve our customers, specifically in regard to logistics,” said Chad Hansen, Homegrown Organic Farms’ Blueberry Category Director, according to a press release. “His drive will only help further the mission, vision and values of Homegrown.”

Ricardo joins the team with 10+ years of experience in logistics and agriculture. Most recently he functioned as the Transportation Manager for POM Wonderful and Wonderful Citrus where he managed the transportation needs for the company’s multiple product lines. Prior to that, he worked as the Transportation Manager with Railex LLC.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Homegrown team,” said Ricardo. “It’s exciting for me to have the opportunity to be a part of the growing organic market and I hope to help continue the company’s forward movement.”

Ricardo plans to use his agriculture background and industry experience to enhance the overall mission of Homegrown Organic Farms. His initial responsibility will involve learning Homegrown’s system of operations and eventually will be focused specifically on logistical and inventory management of the overall organic program.
