Mann Packing Introduces Its Second Generation of Arcadian Harvest Ruby
Mann Packing is introducing its second generation of Arcadian Harvest, the Arcadian Harvest Ruby™. The item is a combination of leaves from its Arcadian Harvest Classic and a new RUBY Butter Lettuce.
Mann's Arcadian Harvest Ruby is a distinctive blend of red and green sweet crisp frisee lettuces paired with Red Butter Salanova® Lettuce. The combination of color, flavor and texture gives any dish an upscale appearance and eating experience. This blend with its bite size, whole red butter leaf portrays an heirloom salad appeal. Two-thirds of restaurant consumers agree that they are eager to try new varieties of salad greens, according to a press release.
The Arcadian Harvest Ruby™ presents a variety of unique elements:
• Single Cut, once at the heart, eliminating the pinking often seen in chopped lettuces.
• 1 oz. serving of Arcadian Harvest Ruby™ has the same plate coverage as 1.5 oz. Spring Mix, providing attractive cost per serving.
• Provides the flavor profile of European lettuce varieties - sweet and mild.

The pack is available in a 6/2lb carton in MAP. Mann Packing will also have a 3/2lb pack available later in September as well.
