ONTARIO, CANADA - The time has come for industry members to descend upon Grapevine, Texas, for the 2023 Viva Fresh Expo. One Canadian operator that will be exhibiting is Mucci Farms, with a wide range of products ready to make waves. I sat down with Ken Paglione, Key Account Manager, and Rob Medcalf, Director of Procurement, to hear what’s in store.

“Year after year, we have been really impressed with the growth of Viva Fresh. It has quickly become a fixture on our calendar and we particularly look forward to expanding our presence in the south,” Ken told me. “This show attracts a lot of suppliers that can provide resources that help maximize efficiency across the supply chain in the region.”

At Viva Fresh, Mucci Farms will be displaying an assortment of offerings. However, its main focus is to convey the message that it has a strong presence in Texas that includes a cross-dock facility in San Antonio. With a growing customer base in the Southern United States, Mucci Farms is searching for new suppliers and retailers to partner with.

As Rob explained, Texas is a major hub in the North American produce industry, especially with the proximity to the Mexican border. Therefore, Viva Fresh is a great show for those looking to do business in the southern regions.

“Our goals are to connect with current partners and establish new relationships with various suppliers and retailers,” Rob continued. “We want to communicate the message that Mucci Farms is fully immersed in Texas and equipped for efficient distribution at scale.”
