PMA Virtual Town Hall: Industry Responds to COVID-19



UNITED STATES - While the COVID-19 situation continues to develop, the fresh produce and floral community has joined together in a collaborative effort to keep our industry strong. Recently, members of the fresh produce and floral supply chain connected in virtual roundtables put on by the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) on April 1.

According to a release from PMA, the virtual roundtable session included leaders of the FDA and USDA. Members met to discuss the most pressing COVID-19 pandemic disruptions directly impacting them and their businesses, such as:

The virtual town hall is part of a series of weekly virtual events designed to provide up-to-date information and opportunities to connect and discuss throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The next virtual roundtable, focusing on floral, will be held next Wednesday, April 8.
