Polymer Logistics Features the World's First Wood Effect Crate
Polymer Logistics has launched the world’s first Wood Effect plastic crate, designed to give supermarkets a “market fresh impression.” The crate presents the opportunity for retailers to switch away from non-descript plastic crates and influence buyer perception in terms of the market feel, according to a press release.
Not only are the crates more sustainable and offer robust product protection during transportation, their active lock system also allows store associates to fold away the crates efficiently to maximize store space.

“If retailers truly want to offer their customers that market fresh look, then they need to find an alternative to the generic plastic crate that is prevalent in every retail produce aisle,” said Adrian Dale, Managing Director at Polymer Logistics UK. “Here at Polymer we believe that this represents a major breakthrough in terms of store enhancements and are confident that if retailers invest in the Wood Effect crate they will see a major uplift in sales.”
These new wood crates are sure to add a fresh new look to produce aisles!
