Dole Food Company Expands "Dole Healthy Heroes: Assemble!" Campaign; Melanie Marcus Comments

CHARLOTTE, NC - Dole Food Company’s newest partner is blonde, buff, and wields a mighty hammer. If you guessed it was Thor, God of Thunder, you would be correct! As the company expands upon its Dole Healthy Heroes, Assemble! campaign honoring and encouraging everyday acts of kindness, the supplier is celebrating the release of Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder with new recipes and merchandising options.

This is the third chapter of the campaign, and Dole is honoring “Heroes of the Heart”—doctors, nurses, paramedics, fire and rescue personnel, and first responders—in celebration of the new Thor: Love and Thunder debut, noted in a release. The campaign will feature a new set of Dole recipes, collectible stickers and tags, free digital downloads, and social media content inspired by Thor and other Marvel characters.

Expanding upon its Dole Healthy Heroes, Assemble! campaign, the company has revealed its third chapter honoring “Heroes of the Heart” with new recipes, collectible stickers and tags, free digital downloads, and social media content inspired by Thor and other Marvel characters

In total, 20 original Marvel character-inspired entrées, side dishes, salads, desserts, and smoothies are being created for free public download. This gives retailers a great set of options for merchandising in the produce department as they can base displays around each recipe. Based on the large Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fandom, the Dole offerings are sure to draw consumer traffic.

Adding to opportunities to attract shoppers to the produce department, five new DOLE Banana sticker designs featuring Thor, Captain Marvel, Star Lord, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot in addition to new DOLE® Pineapple tags with Thor, Captain Marvel, and Groot, also are being released in retail locations across North America.

These will join the millions of other Marvel-inspired stickers and tags introduced earlier in the month, with a total of 26 unique stickers and tags being released, and Dole has created a free downloadable Banana Sticker Peel & Play Hero Book to help fans collect every design.
