DUBLIN, IRELAND - Fyffes has already named the best banana dessert maker, and now the company is widening its scope to include all eating occasions. Joining forces with Chef Donal Skehan once again, Fyffes is launching a competition to find Ireland’s most imaginative meal-makers, with bananas as the key ingredient, of course.

Emma Hunt-Duffy, Head of Marketing, Fyffes“With a host of new categories added this year, we’re really looking forward to receiving some exceptional and original entries,” said Head of Marketing Emma Hunt-Duffy, commenting on the excitement of this unique competition.

Focusing on any serving from starter to sweet, the challenge is “to create an appetizing recipe that will demonstrate the versatility of bananas as an ingredient, whether in meals that are cooked, baked, boiled, blended, and everything in between,” a press release outlined.
