CARLISLE, PA - Last week, The GIANT Company, known locally as GIANT and MARTIN’S, hosted its annual Floral Seminar, bringing together approximately 200 floral team members for a full day of learning, creating, and planning for the holiday season.

The event, now in its 6th year, included demonstrations, presentations from balloon, floral, and plant industry experts, a design competition and a supplier expo where team members could learn about upcoming products, and get inspiration.

“From bouquets for life’s big milestones to something special for loved ones anytime, our floral team is there to help our customers celebrate any occasion,” said Kevin Prill, category manager, floral, The GIANT Company, in the recent release. “Our annual Floral Seminar is an opportunity for our team to come together to learn best practices, exchange creative ideas, and become inspired to offer customers best-in-class, fresh arrangements every day.”

In addition, 12 floral leads from each of the company’s regions were recognized as top performers. The award recipients include:

The GIANT Company also recognized three vendor partners for their ongoing partnership and support. Dutchess Bouquets was named Best Category, Waldan Gardens was awarded Best Category Support, and Mary Ann Pfaffinger from Balloons Everywhere was honored with the Vendor Recognition Award.
