“In California, we are currently shipping white and yellow peaches, white and yellow nectarines, and red and black plums. We anticipate excellent quality for our peaches, plums, and nectarines. We expect good supplies on these items, especially for our proprietary DulceVida™ nectarine varieties, which are in high demand among consumers,” says Miguel Beltran, California Stonefruit Category Lead for Giumarra in Reedley, California.
The full DulceVida lineup includes the following:
- Twilight Edition™ nectarines have white flesh accompanied by frosted fuchsia skin. These white nectarines are available from mid-June through August, providing a visually appealing and flavorful option
- Midnight Edition™ nectarines feature yellow flesh with a deep red, speckled exterior color; available from late June through August
- Sunrise Edition™ nectarines have yellow flesh and skin ranging from rose red to deep berry hues and are available from mid-July through August
