VANCOUVER, CANADA - Whether you’re doing the Monster Mash, shaking your “boo” thing, or rocking the zombie walk, we all have our own ways of celebrating Halloween. Oppy is out in full force with the JAZZ™ apples It’s Boo Time! campaign, decorating the aisles with spooky signage and a scary-good product. To hear more from the produce marketer, I got in touch with Director of Business Development and Key Account Manager Audrey Desnoyers.

Audrey Desnoyers, Director of Business Development and Key Account Manager, Oppy“JAZZ apples’ It’s Boo Time! has been a really successful campaign as we’ve received fantastic support from a number of retailers through display contests. It’s a really fun time for accounts where they can get creative and capture the Halloween theme,” Audrey explained. “JAZZ apples are perfect for small hands, making them a great addition among fall harvest favorites like pumpkins and cider. We love seeing the displays our retailers create to get their customers in the spirit and drive sales.”

Oppy’s retail partnerships have resulted in a slew of creative merchandising displays, like the spooky set-up featuring a menacing witch pictured below. Even more examples from last year’s campaign can be found in the gallery at the top of this article.

Audrey relayed that there are so many great ways to get involved in this campaign—retailers can participate in the display contest, take advantage of display bin offers, feature POS, utilize posters and header cards, and more. This campaign is guaranteed to attract lots of fun and get your customers in the spirit of this wicked holiday.

Fresh produce plays a great role in being a healthy alternative and/or addition to these times of year when sweets are aplenty,” Audrey concluded, sharing some best practices for Halloween merchandising. “Merchandise and feature creative packs that appeal to kids of all ages with a fun and spooky Halloween theme.”

The spook doesn’t stop here at ANUK—we will be lurking in your inbox until the end of time!
