LOS ANGELES, CA - While the California summers may already be hot enough, Progressive Produce is on a mission to bring even more heat to the produce department. The grower recently announced the return of its delicious Jalapeño, Anaheim, and Pasilla peppers, which are ready to fire up displays throughout the produce aisle.

Gabriel Andrade, Sales Manager, Progressive Produce“We’re excited about the high quality of our crop this year,” says Gabriel Andrade, Sales Manager. “The plants are packed with beautiful, healthy, large-sized chili peppers that are perfect for spicing up your summer barbecues and bring the heat to summertime favorites like jalapeño potato nachos and grapefruit jalapeño margaritas.”

Progressive Produce’s locally grown peppers come directly from the field to the supplier’s state-of-the-art cold storage and distribution facility in La Mirada, California. The supplier’s dynamic chilli pepper program offers a multitude of packaging sizes and styles, according to a press release, including a 50-pound field pack and a 20-pound premium pack to avoid shrink.

In the wise words of Andrade, “It doesn’t get any fresher than that.”
