Rice Fruit Company Showcases Record Crop at IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show; Brenda Briggs Details



GARDNERS, PA - Excitement is ramping up this week as the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show is just a hop, skip, and jump away. Among the companies getting ready to descend on Anaheim, California, is Rice Fruit Company, which is celebrating its 110th year in business.

We’re excited to sample some of the most flavor-forward apple varieties to complement our tried and true, consistent consumer favorites.”

Rice Fruit will be showcasing its traditional and trending apple varieties at booth #1457, including its newest variety, Lemonade™. According to a release, the golden apple has a bright, sweet-tart flavor, refreshing effervescence, and crisp texture with a firm, yet juicy, crunch.

“Our suite of apples is bursting with flavor this fall, exemplifying our record apple crop and exceptional fruit quality,” added Briggs. “We’re excited to sample some of the most flavor-forward apple varieties in complement to our tried and true, consistent consumer favorites.”

The company’s record crop is attributed to the Adams County microclimate and the dedication to sustainable farming practices that lie at the core of Rice Fruit’s business.
