Stemilt Welcomes Jocelyn Gerard as Merchandising Manager
Stemilt Growers is welcoming Jocelyn Gerard as its new Regional Merchandising Manager in Chicago, Illinois. She will be responsible for working directly with partner customers to develop marketing programs for the company’s range of fresh fruit products, according to a press release.
“Her passion for fresh food and great communication and organizational skills will serve her well in this new role,” said Roger Pepperl, Stemilt’s Marketing Director. “We’re thrilled to welcome Jocelyn to our team.”
A Chicago native, Jocelyn has a passion for food and spent the last several years working to support her community through the development of a local food movement, including a farmer’s market and food co-op. She is also an experienced communications professional, with strong experience in event management, account relations, and marketing communications. She previously spent 10 years working in management at an artisanal interior design company, Maya Romanoff Corporation. Prior to that, she worked in administration at Reuters, a global information company.
Joceyln earned her BA in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
