Bee Sweet Citrus' Sergio Rodriguez Discusses New Label Design and Merchandising Materials
FOWLER, CA - With the temperatures dropping here in the Northern Hemisphere, citrus production is picking up, meaning shoppers will soon be flocking to the produce aisles in search of the sweet, zesty flavors of their favorite varieties. To help its buy-side partners take advantage of the season’s marketing opportunities, Bee Sweet Citrus is getting ready to show off its full citrus lineup and newly upgraded labels at International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show.
“Both our booth and the fruit showcased will reflect Bee Sweet’s newly modernized label,” says Sergio Rodriguez, Sales Representative. “We want visitors to experience the full effect of seeing all of our products lined up together and understand just how effective the Bee Sweet’s label is in educating consumers about the varieties that are packaged in our bags, as well as all of the varieties that make up our brand.”
Among the bright, bold fruit on display at the Bee Sweet booth are Mandarins, lemons, oranges, and a myriad of specialty varieties, including Cara Cara Navel oranges, Blood oranges, Melo Gold grapefruit, Meyer lemons, and more. In other words, Bee Sweet has all the varieties necessary to meet consumer demand.
To help its partners drive category purchases, the grower will highlight some of its in-store tools at the show.
“In addition to our modernized label, we also plan to showcase our newly developed POS material,” adds Sergio. “From display bins to standing signs, we have the items retailers need to move the citrus category at the store level.”
With the holiday season right around the corner, Sergio explains how citrus can be a great sales booster in any produce department.
“As shoppers gear up for the holiday season, they’re going to be on the lookout for items that can meet their unique needs,” he states. “At this year’s Global Produce & Floral Show, we aim to showcase items that can meet, and exceed, shoppers’ needs while providing them with immunity-boosting nutrients that can help keep them healthy during the busy season.”
