Boskovich Fresh Food Group Launches New Green Fork Line; Deep Silver Comments
OXNARD, CA - Boskovich Fresh Food Group subsidiary Fresh Prep has announced an exciting addition to its portfolio in the form of its new Green Fork retail line. Featuring 11 SKUs, playful packaging, and chef-created recipes, the lineup has created an opportunity for the brand to appeal to the next generation of consumers searching for convenience and better-for-you offerings.
“Green Fork is an opportunity to welcome younger consumers seeking consistency and healthy, convenient options to our brands and improve sales within the demographic for our retail partners,” explained Deep Silver, Senior Director of Marketing at Fresh Prep and Boskovich Family Farms.
This newly unveiled Green Fork line includes prepackaged salad kits, tender leaves, salad blends, and packaged vegetables, a press release stated. Among them are two salad kits, Slammin’ Sesame and Marvelous Mediterranean; two tender leaves, Awesome Arugula and Sweet Baby Spinach; two salad blends, Garden Party and Simply Spring; and five pre-packaged vegetables, Cilantro Pronto, Italian-O Parsley, Curiously Curly Parsley, Radish Squad, and Bae-Bae Bok Choy.
As part of this new launch, the company also worked alongside Chef Andrew Hunter to develop recipes to make shopping easier for consumers and merchandising simpler for retailers.
Also giving buyers an added boost, each product comes with individual UPC codes, making self-checkout easy. The eye-catching packaging was developed using research showing that customers are more concerned about food safety in light of the pandemic, reassuring shoppers that the vegetables aren’t sitting in the open air or being handled by others.
