RIDGEFIELD, CT - With two recent acquisitions in its back pocket, The Chefs’ Warehouse (CW) is expanding its reach in the produce arena. Recently, the distributor announced it had acquired Hardie’s Fresh Foods and Greenleaf Produce & Specialty Foods as it continues to diversify its portfolio of offerings.

Through the addition of Hardie’s, CW will strengthen its produce category nationally, a release stated. The Greenleaf acquisition brings more talent and a new category to the distributor’s presence in Northern California, creating a more dynamic environment for cross-selling and long-term efficiencies for the Bay Area.
