Cory Oliver Joins Sprouts Farmers Market as Senior Director of Produce Procurement of the Midwest and Southeast Division
Former Produce Business Unit Director for HEB, Cory Oliver, has accepted a new position with Sprouts Farmers Market. Cory joins the Phoenix, Arizona-based company as its new Senior Director of Produce Procurement of the Midwest and Southeast Division.
Cory kicked off his career in produce during high school, starting as a clerk for Albertsons. During his 11 years with the company, Cory worked his way up to senior buyer/ procurement manager, according to a United Fresh Produce Industry Leadership Class profile. Cory also spent some time in Boston with AHOLD USA.
Cory began his career at HEB Grocery Company in San Antonio, Texas as a produce business development manager in 2003 after his time with Ahold. In the most recent position he held as Produce Business Unit Director, Cory was responsible for the daily produce operations of HEB along with the daily operations of his staff of business development managers and buyers.
