Dan De La Rosa Promoted to Director, Special Assignment for Kroger

AndNowUKnow would like to congratulate Dan De La Rosa, Produce/Floral Merchandiser, for his recent promotion to Director, Special Assignment for Kroger. In his new role in the organization, Mr. De La Rosa will be involved in the ongoing transition process within the Kroger Company; reporting to Jeff Burt, Kroger Group Vice President, Perishables. The promotion was announced internally in October.

In 1980, Mr. De La Rosa joined Ralphs as a Clerks Helper at Ralphs #61, La Habra where he acquired valuable experience and advanced through the ranks. Mr. De La Rosa was promoted to Store Director in 1992 and managed several high volume locations. In 2000, he went into the Main Office on special assignment and was responsible for the development and implementation of the Corporate Customer Service and Safety Programs while also participating in the Fuel and One Hour Photo special projects.

Later in 2000, Mr. De La Rosa was promoted to Director of Corporate Brands and was responsible for Corporate Brand sales, merchandising and promotions for the perishable and non-perishable departments in both Ralphs and Food 4 Less. Before taking on the Produce/Floral role in 2007, Mr. De La Rosa was promoted to District Manager in 2004, and was responsible for San Diego, City stores and the Pasadena/Santa Clarita area.
