Food Lion Expands Its “Food Lion To-Go” Grocery Services
SALISBURY, NC - Many consumers are continuing to be mindful of their shopping habits, and retailers are taking this into consideration as they build out their operational strategies. Food Lion is taking note of these concerns and is rising up in the grocery pick up game. Recently, the Ahold Delhaize division announced it will be adding additional “Food Lion To-Go” grocery pick-up services at 32 new stores in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia beginning October 26, 2020.
“Expanding this convenient service to additional Food Lion stores is more important than ever,” said Evan Harding, Director of Digital and E-Commerce Marketing. “We want to give local neighbors the option to shop through the channel they prefer, in-store or online, while still ensuring they have access to the freshest groceries at affordable prices.”
With this expansion, the company is continuing to bring this convenient service across its local towns and cities, highlighting its commitment to making grocery shopping easy, fresh, and affordable.
According to the company’s release, Food Lion To-Go allows customers to experience the same low prices and fresh food items without having to enter a store. The convenient option allows customers to place an order and pick up their fresh groceries and everyday essentials on the same day. Food Lion To-Go is available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
