Giant Food Stores' New PA Location

Giant Food Stores announced that it will open a new location in Berks County Pennsylvania on February 27.
The 50,000 square foot store will be open 24 hours a day seven days a week, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The location will also include an on-site gas station.
Giant’s new location will be its seventh in Berks County and have 150 full- and part-time employees. Store manager Steve Bowlby will take the reins, with managerial experience at Giant’s Quakertown, PA store.
The supermarket chain operates 200 stores under the Giant and Martins names, located in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. All are owned by the Dutch conglomerate Ahold.
