Harris Teeter to Open Two New North Carolina Stores

Harris Teeter has announced the opening of two new stores on August 22, 2012, located in Mint Hill, NC and Matthews, NC. The company plans to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and weekend activities to give customers the opportunity to meet the stores’ management teams.
Harris Teeter acquired the new Mint Hill Pavilion and Idlewild Market locations earlier this year through the company’s purchase agreement with Lowe’s Food Stores, Inc. The 51,000 square foot locations were closed in June for remodeling, and will reopen under the Harris Teeter banner on August 22 at 8am. The locations will feature farmers market produce, produce party trays, a salad bar, and more.
