Highline Mushrooms Reflects on Southern Innovations 2022; Sabrina Pokomandy Discusses
LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA - Get a whiff of that fresh Tennessee air! The produce industry recently took to Nashville for the Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) long-awaited Southern Innovations, and the event was yet another demonstration of the strength, ambition, and creativity of the fresh produce sector. One of the distinguished suppliers in attendance was Highline Mushrooms, and Sabrina Pokomandy, Sales Account Manager, gave me a few details surrounding this year’s show.
“We are currently navigating a volatile post-pandemic market, and it is essential to keep up with innovations for new and appealing products, packaging, and sustainability trends,” says Sabrina. “Events like Southern Innovations are valuable when it comes to strengthening partnerships and reassuring suppliers and retailers of our commitment to quality and transparency.”
As a coast-to-coast grower, Highline Mushrooms has the capacity to deliver nutritious food to families all over North America, especially as mushrooms experience a rise in popularity and occupy a larger portion of the plate.
As we know, Southern Innovations also provides an optimal opportunity to nurture existing partnerships and establish new alliances, and Highline Mushrooms took to this anticipated event to achieve both! If uplifting the mushroom category is on your to-do list, booth #324 was definitely the place to be!
“Our sales team always looks forward to reconnecting with our partners and forming new relationships at the show,” Sabrina adds. “We have been excited to talk with customers about our unique growing practices and how we can support buyers with high-quality organic mushrooms, sustainable packaging, and educational resources.”
As SEPC closes the curtain on another successful trade show, we at ANUK will await the next opportunity to see your smiling faces again!
