This season of love, Limoneira Citrus is making sure it’s the best one yet. From tasty recipes to beauty-boosting tips, the company’s spokeswoman Megan Roosevelt is spreading citrus love for the next 28 days, so get about it, produce industry fam!
Never Miss a Beet Juice
This concoction is sure to rival any love potion Romilda Vane could slip ya! Valetine’s Day-esque in both color (peep the beets) and taste, the Never Miss a Beet Juice will have consumers swooning over their own health, as this juice is ultra-hydrating and sure to leave the skin glowing—no highlighter necessary.
Ingredients:
- Two Limoneira Classic, Meyer, or Pink lemons
- 5 cups of spinach
- 1 cucumber
- 1 green apple
Directions: Prepare lemon by cutting off the top and bottom and sides. Follow the curve of the lemon to remove as much of the peel while leaving as much of the fruit as possible. (Some remaining peel is okay, but can add a slight bitterness to the juice.) Prepare remaining ingredients by rinsing, washing, and peeling as necessary. Cut ingredients into appropriate size for the juicer being used. Process all ingredients in juicer and enjoy! (Note: juices can be served over ice and are best served cold.)
Don’t have a juicer? According to a press release, Megan is using her favorite HUROM juicer to create these juices, since slow masticating juicers are better for retaining nutritional value from juice ingredients and yield a higher juice output overall.
