In partnership with Wicked Kitchen, the Mushroom Council presented the “Shroom House,” a mushroom-themed sampling station with the feel of a classic Texas steakhouse with a plant-based focus on mushrooms. A press release noted that this event highlighted mushrooms’ great flavor on the grill, meaty texture, and how their inherent umami flavor fits comfortably alongside anyone’s grill.
