National Mango Board Names Dr. Daniel Spellman as New Director of Marketing
ORLANDO, FL - What’s that now? There’s a new Director of Marketing entering the industry? Now that is something ANUK simply must report on. The new leader is joining the National Mango Board (NMB), as the organization has named Dr. Daniel ‘Dan’ Spellman to the role.
“Since starting with the National Mango Board in late February, I’ve become so inspired through my conversations with colleagues, growers, and retailers that I’m looking forward to diving further into the produce space and bringing my unique experience to help educate consumers on the wonderful benefits of this year-round fruit,” stated Spellman. “Mango is the perfect addition to a healthy diet—my personal favorite is enjoying it frozen in smoothies.”
Spellman has over 20 years of marketing experience, ranging from large member associations to the travel industry to technology, according to a press release.
He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and from Rollins College with both a Master of Business Administration and a Doctorate in Business Administration.
