Raley’s Names Craig Benson as Senior Vice President, Head of Technology and Levi Wingo as Vice President of Operations; Keith Knopf and Laura Croff Discuss
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - Two distinguished leaders have donned new hats as Raley’s pursues growth from the inside out, fortifying multiple critical divisions. The retailer recently revealed it has promoted Craig Benson to Senior Vice President, Head of Technology and Levi Wingo to Vice President, Operations.
Craig Benson has been with Raley’s since 1999, previously holding the title of Vice President, Technology. In his new position, Benson will optimize his 25 years of retail industry expertise to play a key role in developing and executing the company’s strategic plan to expand its digital and technical capabilities.
Benson will support a team that will continue to deliver solutions to enable the retailer to service its customers with enhanced technology offerings, according to a press release.
He will remain on the Executive Committee and report to President and CEO Keith Knopf.
Wingo, who will now serve as Vice President of Operations, first joined Raley’s in 2002. The industry leader has held various roles in store operations, including leading the development of Market 5-ONE-5 as General Manager and holding the position of Executive Director of Store Operations in 2018.
Knopf weighed in on the exciting appointment of these two talented leaders.

In addition, Laura Croff also highlighted the growth of the company’s executive ring.
“This is an exciting time for Raley’s—we have built a strong leadership team that will support the advancement of our vision and purpose,” Croff, Raley’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, explained.
