SACRAMENTO, CA - Raley’s is one retailer that has not taken its foot off the gas when it comes to its expansion plans. Further widening its geographical footprint, Raley’s has unveiled its first O-N-E Market location in the state of Nevada, which has officially opened for business in Reno.

“In line with our purpose of changing the way the world eats, one plate at a time, we are proud to have expanded the Raley’s O-N-E Market banner into Nevada,” said Keith Knopf, President and CEO. “This store conversion was a purpose-driven decision inspired by our desire to help people live healthier, happier, and more-fulfilled lives.”

The new 42,000 square foot store has been operating as a Raley’s since 1996, and was temporarily closed from April 26–30 to be converted into Raley’s O-N-E Market, a press release explained. On May 1, the store reopened its doors with Raley’s O-N-E Market’s highly curated assortment of fresh, nutritious, sustainably sourced products, including 4,200 new products that were brought in to accompany the 12,000 better-for-you options already carried in the store.

Other new additions to the store include an organic juice bar serving fresh-pressed juices, wellness shots, and smoothies, as well as key developments to its loyalty program. The company’s new Something Extra Health program helps consumers on their personal wellness journeys by providing classes, store tours, nutrition coaching, and supplement recommendations at no extra cost to members.

Furthering the company’s commitment to education, store team members at Raley’s O-N-E Market received initial training from Raley’s Nutrition Strategist & Brand Influencer, Yvette Waters, MS, RDN, CISSN, to further their understanding of the department standards and aid shoppers in customizing their experience.

This is the second time the retailer has converted an existing store into a Raley’s O-N-E Market, as the company recently converted its location in El Dorado Hills, California back in April. This is the banner’s third location overall, and the fourth location is currently under construction in Roseville, California, with a planned opening in Spring 2022.
