Taylor Farms Invests in Spain-Based Company Foodiverse; Bruce Taylor and Jesús Gómez Discuss
SALINAS, CA - An exciting update has surfaced from Taylor Farms as the supplier announced that it is bolstering its global reach. A recent agreement welcomes the provider as a new shareholder in Foodiverse, a Spanish operator with expertise in growing and preparing fresh-cut salads, fresh vegetables, and healthy foods.
"We are excited to collaborate with Foodiverse and convinced we found the right partner," said Bruce Taylor, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Taylor Farms. "Our collective mission continues to be increasing consumption of healthy fresh foods across the globe."
Through this investment transaction, both companies will become partners through a capital increase, which will provide Taylor Farms with a significant share in Foodiverse's capital, a release explained. The transaction is expected to close in upcoming weeks and is currently awaiting ratification by the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission.
Taylor Farms' entry as Foodiverse's shareholder will enable the collaboration and creation of synergies as well as an exchange of best practices between both companies to support sustainability, quality, innovation, and food safety. Additionally, it will promote their continuous growth and the development of new, innovative, fresh, and healthy products, tailored to meet the demands of consumers.
"We are enthused to have Taylor Farms as a strategic partner and proud that they have chosen our company for this purpose," stated Jesús Gómez, Chief Executive Officer of Foodiverse. "This operation will strengthen our position for sustainable growth, keeping our focus on shared values such as the highest quality and freshness of our products, innovation, and sustainability."
Foodiverse's multinational operations in Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy will continue to be managed by the Foodiverse team, President Joaquín Ballester, and Gómez.
