Weis Markets Promotes Amanda Bauman to Director of Marketing
SUNBURY, PA - As we here at AndNowUKnow laid out our New Year’s resolutions, it seems that Weis Markets has done the same, adding strengthening its marketing team to its list. To achieve this goal, the retailer has promoted Amanda Bauman to Director of Marketing.
In her new position, Bauman will oversee the company’s loyalty marketing, data analytics, social media, and digital marketing programs. As noted in a release, she steps into the role as Maria Rizzo, her predecessor, was recently promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Advertising.
Bauman has worked in various advertising and marketing positions at Weis Markets since 2003. Prior to earning her newest position, she served as Manager of Digital Marketing, overseeing the development and launch of the retailer’s online shopping. She also helped enhance the company’s growing e-coupon program and upgrade the Weis app.
