Quadrogen Power Systems, Inc. (Quadrogen) of Vancouver, BC, Canada, is a privately held clean-tech company that designs, builds, and installs high performance gas clean-up solutions for the renewable energy sector. We also provide world-class engineering and design services, including detailed techno-economic feasibility studies for industrial and institutional customers.
Our initial product is being demonstrated in a first-ever Hydrogen Energy Station project at an Orange County Sanitation District site in California. The 300 kW (100 scfm) biogas clean-up system purifies digester gas for a fuel cell power plant that generates renewable electricity, heat, and by-product hydrogen for vehicle refuelling. Quadrogen has also had funding approved by Sustainable Development Technology Canada for a similar demonstration project in Delta, BC to demonstrate our gas clean-up and fuel cell exhaust processing technologies.
Based on positive customer feedback, Quadrogen is preparing to commercialize its larger biogas clean-up systems and is also developing new technologies for high-value commercial and industrial applications. To achieve aggressive cost reduction targets, Quadrogen is also working with its technology development partner and a consortium of leading Canadian and American research institutes and universities on next-generation gas clean-up technologies.
