Aldi Opens Third Store in Florida This Fall



MIAMI, FL - Aldi revealed an all-out market blitz this fall, targeting Miami, Florida, as its next hub for aggressive expansion. Following the recent launch of stores in Kendall and Fort Lauderdale, Aldi is now opening a third Miami-based location in Princeton.

According to the Miami Herald, the retailer opened its Fort Lauderdale store back in September and its Kendall store in October. Aldi now controls 42 stores across the Miami-Dade, Broward, and West Palm Beach areas of Florida. The three new stores build on its strategy to add a total of 70 new locations to its footprint this fall alone.

The news source went on to note that with over 2,000 stores across 36 states, Aldi is set to become one of the largest grocers in the United States by 2022.
