Allen Lund Company Named a "Top Food Chain Provider" by Food Shippers of America; Eddie Lund and Brian Everett Detail
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Today we are celebrating the many successes of Allen Lund Company (ALC), as the transportation provider has secured the title of a 2022 “Top Food Chain Provider” by Food Chain Digest, the official magazine of Food Shippers of America (FSA).
“Transporting food across this great nation has been a hallmark of the Allen Lund Company since we started in 1976. To be recognized by Food Shippers of America as a Top Food Chain Provider is a true honor,” said Eddie Lund, Chief Executive Officer of the Allen Lund Company.
The Top Food Chain Provider program highlights third-party logistics companies (3PLs), freight brokers, motor carriers, rail/intermodal, and maritime companies that excel in capabilities and service to food transportation, logistics, distribution, and supply chain management, a press release explained. Nominations for this award were evaluated based on value provided to food shippers, achievements accomplished in the last 12–18 months, and solutions that have helped to solve a business problem of food shippers.
This is the first year Food Chain Digest has deployed this recognition program to serve as a resource to food shippers as they secure partners and capabilities in managing their supply chain strategy and execution, the release continued.
In an effort to facilitate education and networking opportunities and enable supply chain efficiency improvements, FSA brings together a wide community of supply chain and logistics professionals from the food and beverage industry and their suppliers.
