Allen Lund Company Receives Nomination for Designation from Food Shippers of America; David Lund Discusses
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Over the past year, supply chain hurdles have cemented the vital importance of transportation and logistics companies in industry success. In light of its contributions to these crucial sectors, Allen Lund Company (ALC) has been nominated for a designation with Food Shippers of America (FSA) and is asking its fellow industry members for help securing the crucial award.
“ALC has been a sponsor of the FSA conference for over ten years and actively participates in networking opportunities,” explains David Lund, Executive Vice President. “As an ongoing sponsor and attendee of their annual conference, we have formed important relationships with some of the largest food distributors in the country. We believe the designation would further establish the ALC as a key source for FSA members and gain additional recognition with current food and produce companies.”
FSA is comprised of various companies across the food and beverage industry, ranging from manufacturers and distributors to retailers, wholesale cooperatives, and packaging specialists. While transportation and logistics companies cannot become members of the association, FSA has decided to award companies who have been sponsors on the Top Food Chain Providers list.
Recipients of these awards will be featured in the magazine Food Chain Digest and will gain increased visibility amongst members and, therefore, prospective customers.
ALC has experienced strong growth throughout 2021 and into 2022, which inspired the company to self-nominate.
“In our role as an essential business during the pandemic, ALC showed its stability, strength, and excellence in customer service, all of which we believe qualifies us to be a Top Food Chain Provider,” adds David. “We feel well-positioned to take on additional business the designation would bring.”
Votes determine award winners, so ALC is asking industry members to cast one of their ballots for the transportation company to help them continue growing.
