BC Tree Fruits has announced the start of their apple season and are preparing for an expected size of 2.8 million apple crop cartons.

Consumers can already find apples in their nearest grocery stores and will soon be able to purchase other types of apples like Royal Gala, Honeycrisp and Golden Delicious as early as October.

As weather has damaged and even wiped out crops across Eastern Canada, BC Tree Fruits expects to see an increase of apple demands. “We are excited to have a healthy apple season ahead of us and share our Growers products with fruit fans across Canada,” says Chris Pollock, Marketing Manager for BC Tree Fruits.

Canadian consumers and select U.S and international countries will be able to find BC Fruit Tree leaf stickers throughout the 2012-2013 apple season.
