Company hosts tasting event in New York

MOAB Superfruit Blend™ Juice, exclusively distributed by Frieda’s Inc., made its debut in signature grown-up cocktails at Cooking Light’s first-ever Light Up The Night tasting event, presented by Citi, held at The High Line in New York City.
The tasting event was a culinary experience with an array of creative cocktails, craft beer, wines from Sonoma County and a gourmet menu featuring custom-created dishes for the event. Cooking Light’s Light Up the Night event, presented by Citi, was launched as part of the brand’s 25th anniversary celebration.
“Cooking Light and Frieda’s encourage fresh foods, and MOAB fits into this seamlessly,” said Karen Caplan, President and CEO of Frieda’s Inc. “The cocktails were a tremendous hit with everyone. They were light and tasted wonderful with the all-natural juice.”
Mixologists created one-of-a-kind cocktails to complement MOAB’s signature Açai Superfruit Blend. Guests enjoyed three versions of a MOAB Açai cocktail, including one made with tequila and fresh lime, a vodka version with freshly muddled mint leaves and an Açai cocktail made with light rum and lemon juice.
