Consentio Launches Magic Orders With Walmart Retail Link; Andy Makeham Details

BARCELONA, SPAIN - A technological partnership is blooming between Walmart, Consentio, and iTrade. Consentio, a leading digital trading platform for fresh produce, recently announced the launch of Magic Orders for Walmart Retail Link and iTrade, helping the two streamline their orders.

Andy Makeham, Head of United States Operations, Consentio“With Magic Orders you will need less people to process orders—so you can save staff from the mind-numbing job of just typing orders!” Andy Makeham, Head of Consentio USA, commented. “It is highly affordable and easy to implement and use and will usually pay for itself in just a few weeks.”

According to the release, Magic Orders automates the process of manually typing into the ERP system, which can be costly, time-consuming, and error-prone. For companies trading with Walmart or one of the iTrade retailers, dialing into the respective portals to download orders would also be in the cards.

With Magic Orders, the system automates this process and electronically reads the orders from Retail Link and iTrade, then passes them directly to suppliers’ ERP and internal systems.

It can, if required, perform pre-validation of codes and prices, highlighting errors before updating internal systems, which then leads to labor decreases and allows staff to do more value-added work.

Magic Orders will also read other order formats including PDF, XLS, CSV, Text, and more.
