ISSAQUAH, WA - Another day, another insightful financial report released by big-box chain Costco Wholesale Corporation. The grocer recently announced its operating results for its second quarter and the first 24 weeks of fiscal 2023, which ended February 12, 2023.

In its report, Costco revealed net sales of $107.68 billion for the first 24 weeks, a 7.3 percent, or $7.3 billion, increase from the $100.35 billion the company reported last year.

For the quarter, the retailer reported a net sales increase of 6.5 percent, rising to $54.25 billion from the $50.94 billion reported the year prior.

Net income for the first 24 weeks was $2.83 billion, up from the $2.62 billion revealed last year. Costco’s net income for the quarter was $1,466 million, compared to last year’s second-quarter net income of $1,299 million.
