The GIANT Company Appoints Jennifer Heinzen Krueger as Vice President, Team Experience; Nicholas Bertram Comments



CARLISLE, PA - Putting the experience of its workforce front and center, the GIANT Company has announced that it recently appointed Jennifer Heinzen Krueger as its Vice President, Team Experience, effective May 30. She will be taking over for Matt Lutcavage, who will be pursuing other opportunities outside the company.

Jennifer Heinzen Krueger, Incoming Vice President, Team Experience, The GIANT CompanyIn her new Vice President position, Krueger will head the retailer’s human resources team and will focus on fostering a culture of care and innovation while creating an enhanced experience for the company’s over 35,000 team members, a press release explained.

As the newest VP, she will be responsible for people strategy, talent management, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, communications, corporate social responsibility, change management, training and development, and total rewards. In this role, Krueger will report directly to Nicholas Bertram, President.

Krueger began her career with GIANT in 1998 as a Customer Operations Manager, and over the past 23 years has held a variety of positions across the GIANT and Ahold Delhaize organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Learning Officer and Vice President, Learning and Development at Ahold Delhaize.

Bertram shared his enthusiasm for Krueger’s appointment and his appreciation for Lutcavage’s role in the company’s growth.

Krueger holds a Ph.D. in Workforce Development and Education from Penn State University and an MBA in Business Management from Monmouth University. She also serves as the Programming Officer for NextUp’s (formerly the Network of Executive Women) Pennsylvania Chapter.
