Gourmet Trading Company has launched an online memorial page honoring the company’s late CEO and President, Chris Martin.

“We felt that the internet was a good avenue to reach all the people who Chris had an impact on throughout the world. The Chris Martin Memorial Page contains a video with pictures of Chris throughout his career in the produce industry with growers, trade members, and colleagues. It also contains a speech about optimism that Chris gave that clearly shows how he looked at things with a strong sense of positivity,” stated Julia Inestroza, Gourmet Trading Company Marketing Director.

The Chris Martin Memorial Page is located on the company’s website and features a message board, video, news articles and information on how to donate to the fund. The company set up the memorial fund shortly after Chris Martin’s passing as a way to raise money in his honor to continue the support of the education of the company’s Peruvian farm families, a cause that was very important to Martin.

Chris Martin passed away on July 23, 2012.
