PORTERVILLE, CA - Homegrown Organic Farms has celebrated organics at the Organic Produce Summit (OPS) since the beginning of the event. As we approach the 10th anniversary, Elise Smith, Marketing Manager, shared the team is especially excited to return to Monterey, California.

“OPS has always been a meaningful place for our team to connect with customers and industry partners who share our passion for organic fresh produce,” she said. “This year, we're excited to showcase our year-round organic fresh fruit programs, including citrus, stonefruit, berries, fall fruit, grapes, and more. More than anything, we want to share the story behind the fruit: organic fruit grown with care for the land, people, and the future of farming.”

Homegrown is particularly thrilled to feature its Regenerative Organic Certified® stonefruit and blueberry programs, both at the peak of their seasons heading into the show July 13–16.

“Attendees can visit with our team at Booth 300 in the Serra Ballroom and experience the full Homegrown Organic Farms lineup. We also invite attendees to stop by the custom hat bar upstairs outside the Steinbeck Ballroom to celebrate the 10th anniversary of OPS, connect with our team, and take home something memorable from the show,” Elise shared.

At the heart of everything the company does is its commitment to growing with care for the land, for people, and for the future of organic farming.

“We’re introducing a new Regenerative Organic Certified® toolkit to help our customers share the value of ROC® fruit at the store level. The toolkit includes educational and merchandising resources that help bring the value of ROC® fruit to life at the store level,” Elise stated. “Our goal is to help partners explain what Regenerative Organic Certified® means, why it matters, and how each consumer purchase can make a difference.”

These programs, she pointed out, reflect a continued commitment to farming practices that support soil health, biodiversity, farmworker fairness, and long-term agricultural resilience.

“Through our Grown with Care commitment, we share the farming practices and certifications behind our fruit, including Certified Organic, EFI, Regenerative Organic Certified®, Bee Better, and more,” she said. “These programs help communicate the deeper value behind our fruit and give retailers meaningful stories to share with today’s organic shoppers. People still want nutritious, flavorful fruit, but they also want to know how it was grown, who grew it, and what their purchase supports.”

In line with this demand, Homegrown offers values-driven organic fruit programs grown by multigenerational family farmers who are deeply invested in the health of their land, their teams, and the communities around them.

“At the end of the day, our work is about growing fruit people can feel good about,” Elise concluded. “That means delivering great flavor and quality, while also caring for the land, supporting the people behind each harvest, and helping build a stronger future for organic farming.”

Attendees can find Homegrown Organic Farms at booth 300 in the Serra Ballroom. With a fun new experience in store as the sponsor of the first-ever hat bar at OPS, guests have a lot to look forward to as they make their way to this milestone event.
