John Giumarra Jr. Recognized with Lake Tahoe Invitational Legends Award
Vice President of Giumarra Vineyards, John Giumarra Jr. has been recognized by Raley’s with the Lake Tahoe Invitational Legends Award.
John, an avid golfer and produce industry veteran, was honored at the 33rd annual Lake Tahoe Invitational golf tournament for his long legacy of success and contributions in the produce business. The second generation Giumarra has made an indelible impact on the industry with the help of the company's pioneering efforts and founding principles of family, quality, reliability and innovation.
“He was very surprised and excited,” Randy Giumarra, Vice President of Sales, Giumarra Vineyards, told AndNowUKnow, "and very humbled as well upon receiving the award. I don't know anyone better deserving."
John's family is rooted in the industry. The Giumarras brought over a wealth of knowledge in the early 1900's, from their grape cultivating operations in Ragusa, Sicily. Now, the company brings three generations of family heritage, vision and expertise to Giumarra Vineyards.
