Los Kitos Produce is proud to do business with ALBA Organics. ALBA, the Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association, focuses on making opportunities available to farm workers to grow and sell crops from its two organic farms near Salinas, CA. ALBA offers training in organic farming, marketing, record-keeping, labor law, and other subjects that are integral to operating a farming business. ALBA Organics, a licensed produce distributor, was created to support the marketing and business training needs of ALBA farmers.
ALBA facilities feature on-farm coolers, a warehouse, and delivery infrastructure, which contribute to the success of both the farmers and the organization. ALBA Organics provides consumers with high quality produce and the opportunity to support small-scale, limited-resource farmers. Los Kitos is glad to have the opportunity to support ALBA Organics and reduce poverty, promote a healthy diet, and contribute to the development of future farmers.
